Your job of choice is just four steps away

You deserve a quick response, and no one enjoys waiting. To process applications as efficiently as possible, we use an online application portal. This way, your documents will go to the right person, and you can track the status of your application.

Step 1 – Your application

Select a specific job offer or one of the "Speculative application" options. To apply, go to the job details page and click the "Apply Now" button to open our online application portal. If you grant us permission, we will include you in our talent pool. This lets us contact you when job openings align with your skill set and experience.

  • Cover letter
  • Certificates, references, or documentation related to further training, if available

Upon completing your online application, you will receive an email confirmation.

Step 2 – First interview

We invite you to an initial interview. We prefer to meet our future employees in person however dependant on location and schedules we can accommodate telephone or video interviews also.

We talk about:

  • Your questions
  • Your motivation for applying
  • Your know-how, skills, and experience
  • Details of the job

Step 3 – Second interview

If the initial meeting suggests we might be a good fit, we will invite you to a follow-up interview.That said, not all roles require a second interview.

If the role does require a second stage, we will focus on the reality of the job. We may discuss daily tasks, ask you to solve a problem or exercise, or invite you to a trial day to experience the workplace and the team.

Step 4 – Job offer and orientation

We offer you a contract of employment. If you choose to accept, we will discuss the next steps. We very much look forward to working with you and understand that a good start is crucial.

Does EGGER have an induction program for new employees?

Our step-by-step process prepares new team members for their new roles and responsibilities. It helps everyonesettle in quickly and smoothly.

On your first day, you will meetthe team and get an overview of our company and operations.

In your first weeks, we will introduce you to general, company-specific and specialist topics. You and your line manager will sit down for a feedback meeting.

A colleague from your department will be your “buddy.” They will show you around and offer support and advice.

Does EGGER offer intern programs for high school students?

EGGER offers internships for school students all year round, including during summer vacation. These internships are job-shadowing opportunities, giving students a chance to explore training and career options. We usually offer two-week placements but are open to adjusting the duration if students need to meet school requirements.

How does the employee referral program work?

Our employees are great at identifying people who will thrive and feel at home at EGGER. That's why applications through recommendations from family, friends, and acquaintances make us especially happy. When such an application proves successful, we thank employees with up to €500.

The rules:

  • In your application, you must name the person who recommended us.
  • The bonus for a part-time position is adjusted proportionately.
  • The bonus is paid after your successful induction.
