In our new corporate video you will find out what connects us internationally

On December 18, 1961 we produce the first chipboard at our plant in St. Johann in Tirol (AT). The groundwork of our company history laid by Fritz Egger Sr. with his motto "Wood is far too valuable to just throw it away". We have developed from a Tyrolean sawmill into one of the world's leading manufacturers of wood-based materials ever since.

What connects us internationally?

On the occasion of our 60th company anniversary, we ask ourselves the question: "What connects Roman from Poland with Lance from the US or Aude from France?" Our answer: "The passion for our unique material wood" in a new corporate video. Our new video focuses on the perspectives of our employees, like Roman or Aude. In addition to the owners and Group Management, employees introduce the company and describe what makes EGGER special for them - from the first plant manager of the St. Johann plant Manfred Dittrich to mechanical engineering apprentice Alexander Dorfer. They talk about the multi-faceted history of our Group, past and current milestones and venture a glance into the future.

"At EGGER we have something called the EGGER standard. It's the same quality worldwide. We can rely on this quality everywhere. Customers also feel that. I'm not selling only a product. I'm selling the quality, the design, the service and us as a company."

"We have a great responsibility towards the environment. Environmental protection is very important to us."
