You will have the opportunity to participate in work experience during certain times of the year. If you are not currently attending school, please consult with us to arrange work experience days.

For up to five days, you'll be shadowing professionals and may also take on your own tasks.

Frequently asked questions
What are the working hours at EGGER?
We work 37.5 hours per week.
In the office, you typically work from 8:30am am to 5:00pm, including the lunch break. In a more technical role, you will normally be onsite from 07:30am to 03:30pm.
Is there an onboarding program for apprentices?
We start together and immerse you in the world of EGGER. To help you find your way and settle in quickly, we have put together a comprehensive package.
- Your very own buddy will assist you in the first few weeks until you have everything under control.
- Through introductions, you will learn more about EGGER, your trainers, and your team.
- During trhe apprentice induction week you will learn new things and meet apprentices from other teams.
- A tailored package of training and further education will nurture your special abilities.
What do we do on the induction week?
Once a year, EGGER apprentices spend 4 days getting to know all parts of the company plus you get to take part in some fun outdoor activities!

- take place in August, so that new apprentices can join right away
- won't cost you a penny!
Wie viel verdient ein Lehrling bei EGGER?
Ob im technischen oder kaufmännischen Zweig,du verdienst schon im ersten Lehrjahr 1.133 Euro netto im Monat.
Mit ordentlicher Leistung und guten Noten kannst du dir zusätzlich bis zu 900 Euro im Jahr an Prämien sichern. Auch wer bei Lehrlingswettbewerben mitmacht, kann auf ein Prämien-Sahnehäubchen zählen.
