EGGER Insights | Silent Solids

New solid colour introductions from EGGER, available now.

Aimee Fletcher, Design Manager at EGGER UK, welcomes the arrival of pastel tones, as consumers look for a fresh, more flexible approach to design.

"Over the last 12 months, there has been a dramatic shift in design trends for interior spaces. Designs now need to offer flexibility, as consumers look to create modular living environments. Paint colours from the likes of Farrow & Ball, Lick and Coat, have paved the way for pastel tones and, as a result, people are looking to source furniture that blends in tonal layers.

Pastel tones have taken on the challenge of replacing cool grey as the base colour, and are succeeding so far! Instead of one dominate colour leading the way, we are now seeing multiple colour trends running alongside each other."

Aimee Fletcher, Design Manager, EGGER UK

“There is no doubt Grey still has its place, but it’s a much warmer look post COVID-19, as designers choose softer, more comfortable shades to create sanctuaries in home and work spaces.”

To meet the demand for these warm, understated tones, we have introduced a selection of Silent Solid Colours, fully aligned with the shift towards pastel shades.

These colours are available to order in 18mm MFC with matching edging for a coordinated finish. A4 samples are also available to order.

U115 ST9 Carat Beige

Beige is back with warm grey tones instead of the harsh yellow tones previously seen. Like the stone uni colours, U115 Carat Beige combines well with black accents to create a warm, light and modern interior.

U211 ST9 Almond Beige

U211 Almond Beige has a warm, beige colour tone with a slight reddish tint. It does not appear too colourful and brings with it a subtle colour tone.

U767 ST9 Cubanit Grey

A light warm gray, U767 Cubanit Grey can be used as a neutral solid color, creating a harmonious pairing with woodgrains that have grey elements.

U335 ST9 Rusty Red

U335 Rusty Red displays new colour tone that is intense but not too colourful. The use of grey pigments give this uni colour a high-quality look that works well in combination with both woodgrain and material decors.

U502 ST9 Misty Blue

U502 Misty Blue is a new colour tone that is a shade darker than existing decor U540 ST9 Denim Blue. In combination with light to medium woodgrains, this solid colour creates a valuable accent.

U604 ST9 Reed Green

U604 Reed Green is a natural green shade that does not appear too colourful due to its grey components. Combinations with woods in medium to dark brown natural shades look very natural and elegant.

Note: All decors shown and mentioned are reproductions. Colour-matching decor selection only possible on the original sample.
