Your new role is just four steps away
You deserve a quick response, and no one enjoys waiting. To process applications as efficiently as possible, we use an online application portal. This way, your documents will go to the right person, and you can track the status of your application.
Step 1 – Your application
Review our vacant roles. When you find the perfect opportunity just click “Apply Now” to open your online application portal. You may want to have the following documents available, electronically, to attach to your application:
Your documents:
- Resume (Strongly recommended)
- Cover letter (Not required but nice to have)
- Certificates, references, or documents related to specialized training and skills.
Upon completing your online application, you will receive an email confirmation.
Step 2 – First interview
Your first interview is almost always by telephone introductory with a member of our Talent Acquisition team. In some instances, an in-person meeting, at the local EGGER campus, may be requested right away. During our initial discussion you can expect to talk about:
- EGGER history, our business and customer base as well as the location you’re applying to.
- Details of the role.
- Your background and experience.
- Your motivation for seeking a new opportunity.
- Any follow up questions you may have.
Step 3 – Second interview
At this stage we want to know more about your prior experience and skills, and we want you to have the opportunity to learn more about the specific role, the team you’ll work with, and the working environment. Often, we’ll take you for a site tour and to see the area where you’ll work.
Step 4 – Job offer, pre-employment, orientation, and onboarding
Upon acceptance of a job offer from EGGER, we’ll guide you through the pre-employment processes and scheduling your start date. Your first three days are focused on orientation including standard processing of employment documents, benefits orientation, and safety training.
Next, onboarding begins! Acclimating to a new company and a new job takes time. At EGGER onboarding encompasses training, getting to know your team, and deepening your understanding of the company. We look forward to hearing from you and hope you’ll apply for your new role today!

FAQ
Does EGGER have an induction program for new employees?
Our step-by-step process prepares new team members for their new roles and responsibilities, enabling them to settle in quickly and smoothly.
On your first day, you will meet the team and get an overview of our company and operations.
In your first weeks, we will introduce you to general, company-specific and specialist topics. You will sit down with your line manager for a feedback meeting.
A coworker from your department will be your “buddy.” They will show you around and provide advice and support.
I have run into a technical problem with my online application. Who do I contact?
Please share technical questions through our Contact form. To help us assist you more quickly, please include this information:
- At which step in the application process did the error occur?
- Which entry is giving you trouble?
- What did the error message say?
- Provide a screenshot, if possible.
Thank you for reaching out! We will get back to you as soon as possible. Please note: We don’t accept applications sent using the Contact form.
How does the employee referral program work?
Our employees are great at identifying people who will thrive and feel at home in our company. That's why applications through recommendations from family, friends and acquaintances make us especially happy. When such an application proves successful, we thank employees with up to $500.
The rules:
- You have to name the person who recommended you in your application.
- The bonus is paid after your successful induction.
