Everything from a single source: The EGGER EcoBox is a hybrid product made of EGGER OSB, EGGER timber and soft wood fibre insulation. EGGER OSB and EGGER timber are already highly reliable products for high-quality building with wood, and the EGGER EcoBox is an innovative and smart solution for wood construction.
The precise, standardised production of the EcoBox ensures high and consistent quality. The product’s dimensional stability is particularly noteworthy – a critical factor in the industrial manufacture of wood construction elements. Thanks to optimised insulation properties and excellent dimensional stability, it is the ideal choice for construction projects that place the highest value on quality, efficiency and structural clarity. The production facility is designed for lengths up to 6,500 mm, and widths vary between 160 and 400 mm according to market requirements and energy requirements. The EcoBox is available in a thickness of 80 mm and, from March 2026, also in a new dimension of 60 mm.
The EcoBox is used as a modern alternative to solid wood studs in timber-frame walls and can likewise serve as a rafter, beam and parapet solution in roof construction. Furthermore, it is used in house and façade refurbishment.
