EGGER Group: Satisfactory company performance at the half-year mark
The EGGER Group, headquartered in St. Johann in Tirol (AT), closed the first half of its 2022/2023 financial year (reporting date 31 October 2022) with consolidated sales of EUR 2.26 billion (+14.0% as compared to the previous year). This increase in sales is primarily due to the sharp rise in costs for raw materials, energy and logistics, which led to higher sales prices. The many uncertainties and crises and their effects on the energy and raw material markets, as well as massive inflation and the resulting loss of purchasing power, have caused a noticeable decline in demand. The outlook for the second half of the year is therefore reserved.
SAIB becomes part of the EGGER Group
EGGER acquires 60% of the shares in Italian wood-based materials manufacturer SAIB. Acquisition agreement closed on December 15, 2022.

EGGER plant in Biskupiec starts production
On June 28, 2019, EGGER Biskupiec began to operate its state-of-the-art chipboard production plant for furniture manufacturing. It is the EGGER Group’s 19th plant in the world, with capacity of 650,000 cubic meters of chipboard and an investment of €440 million. With 400 direct and 600 indirect jobs, EGGER Biskupiec will supersede the current chipboard import for Poland – one of the largest furniture producing countries in the world.

EGGER starts construction of an office building in Lexington, North Carolina
In July of last year, the EGGER Group announced that it would build a wood-based material factory in Lexington, North Carolina. A first step has been taken with the ground-breaking ceremony for the office building on site. In early 2019, around 80 administrative employees will be able to move into their new workplaces. The wood-based material manufacturer is planning to start the construction of the production plant at the end of 2018.

The EGGER Group, headquartered in St. Johann in Tirol (AT), was able to conclude the first half-year of its financial year 2017/2018 (reference day 31st October 2017) with a consolidated turnover of EUR 1.32 billion (+11.1% compared to the previous year).
Ground-breaking ceremony for the EGGER plant in Poland
On the 25th of October 2017, together with approximately 160 Polish customers, partners, political and industrial representatives, authorities, and members of the media, Michael Egger and Ulrich Bühler, EGGER Group Management Sales & Marketing, launched the ground-breaking ceremony. In Biskupiec, located in the Warmia-Masuria region of north-east Poland, an ultramodern production plant for 650,000 m3 of chipboard will be built by the end of 2018.
EGGER's flagship flooring product, EGGER Protect, is helping UK housebuilders tackle current on-site issues that can cause serious delays. EGGER Protect is the only structural flooring product on the market that can be exposed to the elements for up to 60 days. This takes the pressure off builders dealing with poor weather, material shortages and a lack of skilled tradespeople.
EGGER’s acquisition of Masisa Argentina is concluded
With the closing of the contracts on the 30th of September 2017, the plant in Concordia and the sales structure become part of the EGGER Group. The acquisition of the Masisa plant in Concordia, Argentina, from the Chilean Masisa S.A. is successfully completed upon closing of the contracts.

PerfectSense represents the premium category of high gloss and matt MDF lacquered board from EGGER. EGGER acquires Masisa plant in Argentina
Purchase contracts for plant in Concordia and sales structure signed on 17 July 2017 By acquiring the Masisa plant in Concordia, Argentina from Chilean company Masisa S.A., wood-based material manufacturer EGGER secures a production site outside of Europe for the very first time. Headquartered in St. Johann in Tirol, Austria, the company is consistently pursuing its strategy of continuing to grow on its own terms and to make itself future-proof through increasing internationalisation.
EGGER presents a stable half-year financial statement
The EGGER Group, with headquarters in St. Johann in Tirol (AT), has completed the first half of its financial year 2016/2017 (reference date the 31st October 2016) with a consolidated turnover of EUR 1.19 billion. With a stable turnover development, the EBITDA increased by 10.1% on the previous year to reach EUR 189.6 million. The EBITDA margin increased to 15.9% (previous year: 14.4%).
