Mirror-like reflection comes to high traffic surfaces with PerfectSense® Premium Gloss (PG) laminate, the latest addition to EGGER’s evolving PerfectSense portfolio.
Created to withstand increased wear, PG laminate offers a robust matching surface solution to its Premium Gloss board counterpart, which is offered for mid traffic horizontal applications.
PG laminate replaces High Gloss (HG) laminate in the EGGER portfolio. The resilient Premium Gloss lacquer results in a laminate with superior scratch resistance, achieving a value of ≥ 4 according to EN 438, significantly higher than the standard requirement of 2.
PG laminate offers striking reflection in a material ideal for curved and shaped retail counters, display fixtures and table tops.
PG laminate joins PerfectSense Topmatt (PT) laminate, matching PerfectSense Premium boards, and complementing PerfectSense Lacquered Chipboard (TM9) boards to offer specifiers optimal value engineering opportunities in matt and gloss design.

Less cost, less labour, and no change to the design concept.
EGGER sees the cost challenges faced. That is why additions have been made to the PerfectSense product portfolio to cater for every budget.
Successful value engineering is about creating a design scheme that looks high end, delivered within a tight financial framework. This is where the PerfectSense portfolio steps up.
In issue one of Specified we explained the use of matching board and laminate to maximise VE potential. The same applies to PerfectSense materials for commercial interiors.
PG and PT laminates are formulated with higher resistance to wear and are intended for horizontal application, and vertical elements that see more traffic. Both require bonding to a suitable substrate.
