Thanks to their structure, EGGER decorative particleboards with a multilayer composition are suitable for higher stress vertical and horizontal applications in the contract sector, such as furniture in public areas or high-quality shop fittings. The core material is laminated on both sides with impregnated decorative papers. The multilayer composition is realised with underlay, also known as barrier paper. This increases the total thickness of the board according to the respective multilayer construction. Underlays with brown paper are used for standard decors. White underlays are used for the W1001 Solid Premium White decor. These multilayer laminated boards (according to EN 14322) are compliant with the requirements for formaldehyde emissions according to the European REACH Regulation as well as to the TSCA regulation in the USA, and are available in the decor and texture combinations of the Decorative Collection.
