The new EGGER Capsule concept impressed the expert jury at the German Design Awards 2024 and was awarded the “Winner” award in the “Excellent Communication Design – Online Publications” category.

The "conNEXTion" capsule showcases nine decors that can form versatile harmonious combinations between themselves to generate various options for cohesive interior design. This range offers muted colours and modern beige, which can be seamlessly combined with wood in veneer style or with Italian flair. The selected, authentically warm material decors can also be harmoniously integrated. In particular, the tactile variety and authenticity of the decors from the ConNEXTion capsule create an emotional link with the user of the room and the furniture.

Milano - Evolving Harmony
In 2024, the Milan Furniture Fair once again presented a wide range of high-quality materials in a broad spectrum of colours. The harmonious combination of materials (usually tone-in-tone) in the space and in the furniture itself, combined with a well-rounded design, were striking. Classic travertine was a particularly striking material, which was used in flowing colour combinations with neutral uni colours and elegant, authentic wood types. Wood and natural stone were generally used as a warm, natural accent on muted uni colours, with a graphic touch in the linear overlays.

In “biophilic designs”, green is an important colour that is always associated with the megatrend of sustainability. Matt and muted shades of green often appear in many gradations from light to dark.
