Located right on the Elbe and next to the Elbphilharmonie concert hall, the residential tower “The Crown” with 75 luxury flats and two penthouses was completed in 2025. Armin Panahi and Randi Mara Schumacher of PASCH Design relied on Decorative Boards, PerfectSense Lacquered Boards and ABS Edging from EGGER for the three interior design styles Pure, Coco and Silk. These impress with their appearance, feel and versatility, shaping the choice of colours and materials in kitchens, bathrooms and living areas. The result is timeless, high-quality and durable interiors with clear geometry and a high level of comfort.
Pure is arguably the most calming style, standing for clean lines and harmonious colours. Taupe, greige and beige tones predominate; they remain very restrained and foster clarity and harmony. Delicate decors such as U705 ST9 Angora Grey and U201 ST9 Pebble Grey are primarily used from the EGGER decor palette. Combined with the darker shade U748 ST9 Truffle Brown for selective accents, they create a harmonious, cohesive whole.
By contrast, Coco relies on strong contrasts with golden accents, creating a luxurious and extravagant impression. In the bathroom, the dark, almost black, woodgrain decor H1199 ST12 Black-Brown Thermo Oak echoes the style.
Silk is defined by its linearity. The colour scheme is kept in natural grey tones, complemented by gentle, earthy nuances. From the broad EGGER decor palette, the designer duo opted for H3157 ST12 Vicenza Oak. In the bathroom, the PerfectSense Matt Lacquered MDF in W1000 PM Premium White also acts as a connecting element between wood and stone look.
“We chose products from EGGER because the selected decors persuaded us not only with their appearance but also their feel and, above all, their durability and versatility,” say Randi Schumacher and Armin Panahi in unison.
