Multi-award winning highway church impresses thanks to its dome construction made of EGGER OSB 4.
The seven-metre tall dome of the unique church is composed of 650 different individual parts made of EGGER OSB boards. These were manufactured as individual parts on a CNC milling machine. The filigree wooden arch appears as a delicate ribbed structure. The wood ribs were inserted into each other via slots in the boards. The construction almost supports itself. Only fixings through steel squares are needed. Seating, desks and kneelers are also made of EGGER OSB boards to create a calming atmosphere.
