What are the working hours at EGGER?
We work 37.5 hours per week.
As a technician, you are on duty from 7 am to 3:30 pm. In addition to the lunch break, you have two breaks: one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Is there an orientation program for apprentices?
We start together and immerse you in the world of EGGER. To help you find your way and settle in quickly, we have put together a comprehensive package.
- Your very own buddy will assist you in the first few weeks until you have everything under control.
- During introductions, you will learn more about EGGER, your trainers, and your team.
- Through excursions and activities, you will learn new things and meet apprentices from other teams.
- A tailored package of training and further education will nurture your special abilities.
What do we do on apprentice inductions?
Once a year, EGGER apprentices go on a 4 day induction.

Within Business Administration apprenticeships, your starting salary would be NMW.
Can my class visit an EGGER plant?

Do you offer every apprenticeship at every location?
Each location only offers apprenticeships in roles that are appropriate to the operations, and the opportunity to stay with us after completing the apprenticeship.

- HGV and Site Operative at Timberpak sites (Bellshill, Leeds, Washington)

Does every apprenticeship start every year?
No, not every apprenticeship is offered every year. Those who complete an apprenticeship with us have the opportunity to stay with us. Therefore, we only train as many people as we can later employ.
- Every year: Electrical, Mechanical, Production as well as commercial professions such as Business Administration.
- Every 2 years: Industrial logistics and IT technology
