The EGGER OSB 3 is a multi-purpose panel for a wide range of applications. Designed as type OSB 3 according to EN 300, the panels offer good mechanical strength and stiffness, as well as good durability even under temporarily humid ambient conditions.

Emissionsclasses

The gluing systems of our OSB 3 boards fall well below the strict standard requirements for formaldehyde emission in interiors. All our products comply with the formaldehyde emission limit value of 0.062 mg/m³ applicable in the EU from 6 August 2026.

Depending on your requirements, our OSB boards are available in the following bonding types and trade names:

OSB 3 E0 = bonded with 100% formaldehyde-free adhesive, formaldehyde emission like untreated wood; REACH requirement for formaldehyde emission ≤ 0.062 mg/m³ met.

OSB 3 TOP = bonded with 100% formaldehyde-free adhesive, formaldehyde emission like untreated wood; REACH requirement for formaldehyde emission ≤ 0.062 mg/m³ met.

OSB 3 E05 = bonded with low emissions in compliance with the European REACH requirement for formaldehyde emission ≤ 0.062 mg/m³.

OSB 3 E1 = bonded with low emissions in compliance with the European E1 limit value according to EN 13986:2004+A1:2015
