Improved reaction to fire
Structural performance with B‑s1,d0 reaction to fire
CE-marked OSB3 panel manufactured in accordance with EN 300 for load-bearing applications, with a declared reaction-to-fire classification of B‑s1,d0
EGGER OSB Flammex achieves a Euroclass B‑s1,d0 reaction-to-fire classification on the coated side when installed as specified within the documented scope of use. Classification applies to the coated surface only. As an OSB3 panel manufactured in accordance with EN 300 for load-bearing applications in humid conditions, it combines enhanced reaction to fire with reliable structural performance, and is supported by an EGGER Declaration of Performance, making it suitable for roof, wall and ceiling applications..
- Reduces fire spread during construction when installed as specified
- High racking strength, suitable for structural use as OSB3 in accordance with EN 300
- Lightweight and easy to cut, handle and fix on site
- Suitable for use in timber frame construction
- Tested and included within the Structural Timber Association (STA) "Fire During Construction - Tested Products"
- Certified under WPA Benchmark FR and FR Build schemes
- Performance characteristics defined in the EGGER Declaration of Performance (DoP)
How it works
EGGER OSB Flammex combines the performance of a structural OSB/3 panel with an improved reaction-to-fire classification. In the event of a fire, the flame-retardant intumescent coating forms a barrier that helps limit flame spread across the surface and slows burn-through of the panel.
