Our plants – quality meets innovation
Wismar (Germany)
The Wismar plant was established at the end of the 1990s near the port of Wismar and a neighbouring sawmill – with an excellent raw material base and logistics. We have been producing MDF boards here since 1999 and added OSB boards in 2000. Modern production facilities, such as a resin plant, impregnation plants and fully automated logistics, guarantee high product quality and delivery reliability. The EGGER EcoBox has also been produced here since 2024.
Rădăuți (Romania)
The Rădăuți plant is one of the largest greenfield investments in Romania. The plant has been continuously developed since 2008 and now produces OSB boards, Eurospan raw chipboards and melamine-faced boards for the furniture industry, wood construction and specialist distributors. Thanks to modern glue production, a biomass power plant and recycling facilities, Rădăuți has an integrated production cycle that combines efficiency and closed material flows. In 2025, the OSB Flammex plant was put into operation at this site.
Brilon (Germany)
The Brilon sawmill was built in 2008 and is located in the centre of a densely wooded district in Germany. As a fully integrated plant with a direct link to wood-based material production, the sawmill utilises a wide range of synergies and benefits from regional access to raw materials. In addition to the extensive range of timber, we are the first manufacturer in Germany to produce finger-jointed roof battens here. With around 1,300 employees at the entire location, we are also an important employer and economic factor in the region.
Hexham (United Kingdom)
The EGGER plant in Hexham was taken over by the EGGER Group in 1984 and was the first investment outside Austria. The plant has grown steadily and has become one of the most technologically advanced plants in Europe. Among others, tongue and groove boards (Protect, P5, Peel Clean Extra, Decorative Protect) are manufactured at this location.
