The recent expansion at Timberpak has seen a range of additional benefits for its increasing customer base.

With the ongoing success of our business there was an increasing requirement for more space, which led to the need for us to expand the yard. After planning was gained, construction began earlier this year.

Timberpak Scotland’s yard expansion is now complete

Gordon Argo, Operations Manager for Timberpak Scotland said: “The new area provides us with much needed additional space to allows for the tipping of more wagons. This will help with our customers' turnaround times on-site and also provide us with the capability for increased volumes on site.

“The finished 1,900 m2 yard extension also features a new picking station which enables us to pick more material. This ensures we can meet the high quality standards required for the recycled wood we provide our parent company EGGER with, which is a key component in its chipboard production.”

With the new extension Timberpak Scotland also has a dedicated area to process civic amenity material.
