In September, the Environment Agency withdrew Regulatory Position Statement 250 which governs rules around demolition waste wood, meaning that a small number of potentially hazardous waste wood items from pre – 2007 buildings can no longer be processed as non-hazardous unless sent off for a simple test to show they are not. This change in ruling will have no impact on our customers as we have never accepted this type of potentially hazardous waste, but we felt it was important to let you know.
