EGGER - More from wood
About EGGER Forestry

Who is EGGER Forestry?

EGGER Forestry is the dedicated timber procurement arm of EGGER UK. Working across the North of England and Scotland, our team sources timber from responsibly managed forests. Supply comes from within 150 km of our manufacturing sites in Northumberland and Ayrshire.

What do we do?

Through our regional, direct and partnership‑driven procurement strategy, we build long‑term relationships with Growers, Contractors and Customers. We ensure growers achieve strong market access across the full range of timber products. We achieve this whilst managing our environmental impact and the safety of those who work with us.

How do we do it?

We place each assortment (sawlogs, palletwood, chipwood and other grades) into the most suitable, highest‑value market, supporting long‑life wood applications wherever possible.

At the end of those products’ service life, the timber can be recycled back into our particleboard, helping close the loop and extend the material’s useful life. The process is circular: the residues produced by our customers can then be purchased by EGGER UK for use in the manufacturing process, further strengthening the regional resource cycle.

Guided by our values of quality, progress and respect, we focus on professional service, continuous improvement, and responsible engagement, connecting forest resources with sustainable manufacturing and reliable markets that deliver lasting value.
