Assembly hall Pilatus AT

Wooden hall

Wood is also a serious contender for steel in large production halls.
Even in areas where steel could be expected to have the “home advantage”. In 2008, the aircraft assembly hall of Bürli AG, the company acting as the general contractor of Pilatus Flugzeugwerke AG in Stans, was constructed entirely from wood.

Pilatus and Bürli AG placed great emphasis on the environmental friendliness of the building, which is proven by the timber construction alone. Both EGGER DHF boards and EGGER OSB boards should be used together as they meet the highest environmental standards.
