Growing workforce and significant progress on future office and plant

Construction of the office and training center is also underway with expected completion in the second half of 2019. This building will include an EGGER showroom with the company’s product range on display.

Additionally, EGGER has been focused on building and training its U.S. workforce, which will be based in North Carolina. Currently there are 42 full-time positions, including 10 apprentice positions available. Full-time jobs primarily consist of mechanical and electrical positions, with additional opportunities expected to post as EGGER creates 425 U.S. jobs over the next two years.

EGGER has already hired more than 60 U.S. employees with many citing the company’s respected history, on-the-job training, positive culture and opportunity to build something new as key reasons they’re excited to be a part of the team.

EGGER is now accepting applications for its 2019 Apprenticeship Training Program with classes beginning in August 2019. Selected applicants will receive four years of paid training and an associate degree in the mechanical or electrical trade from Davidson County Community College. Tuition and classroom materials are fully paid by EGGER. Program participants will also be guaranteed full-time employment at EGGER following graduation.
