We want to individually encourage young people in their development. Integrating apprentices, employees for summer jobs and for diploma theses is essential for us to sustainably promote personnel development. The valuable practical experience is the first step towards a permanent job with EGGER.

Accordingly, we also take our time to select and support you. A special relationship with every one of you can only be based on providing the suitable measures.

Employees for summer job

A summer job during school or university brings money but also a lot of work experience. Every year, young people have the opportunity to take a look at the EGGER world in our plants. What awaits them? A motivated team, interesting tasks, and a lot of additional services!


From two-week pupil internship to half year specialist traineeship – interns are there with us in all company departments. Positions are filled on a need basis in our specialist departments. This is an advantage for both parties: our young achievers develop further through their work on concrete projects, and we get to know even better the strengths of our potential employees of tomorrow.


Topics for diploma theses are always available in agreement with our specialist departments. Together with an assigned supervisor, goals and framework conditions are defined, milestones are established, and execution is started. The international and diverse character of the company allows for a wide choice of exciting research questions. Our focus is on quality in this case as well: exceptional achievements are honoured with a bonus!
