EGGER officially began its Lexington, N.C. apprenticeship program in September 2018 in partnership with Davidson County Community College (DCCC).
The program is a key part of EGGER’s effort to develop a highly skilled workforce for its new facility in Lexington while reinvesting in the local community.
Students enrolled in the apprenticeship program will receive four years of paid training and a scholarship to earn an associate degree from DCCC. Classes and hands-on job training will educate apprentices in the theory and practice of the mechanical and electrical technician trade. Program participants will also be guaranteed full-time employment at EGGER following graduation.
