EGGER sponsors Woodland Run at the Northumberland County Show

EGGER Woodland Run

This year’s county show will see visitors taking part in the first EGGER Woodland Run. Hosted by EGGER and Run Nation, the 5K challenge will take runners on an enjoyable route through the Northumbrian countryside.

The race will start at 2pm on show day, giving participants the chance to enjoy the show before and after the run. Open to those aged 11 and over, the competition is the first event of its kind to take place in the show’s history. Entries cost £15.00 and include all day admission to the show.

Jonathon Stephens, EGGER Plant Manager Finance and Administration, said, “We are delighted to be hosting the first EGGER Woodland Run at the Northumberland County Show. It’s a fantastic opportunity for both experienced runners, and those just starting out, to challenge themselves to something new.”

Robert Raine, Chairman of the Northumberland County Show, said, “The EGGER Woodland Run is a fresh and exciting way for visitors to enjoy the beautiful countryside around Bywell as well as enjoying a great day out at the biggest one day agricultural show in the North East. We are grateful to EGGER for being the inspiration behind what we hope will become an annual event.”

Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers and all participants will receive an EGGER goodie bag.
