EGGER is a triple prize winner

  • The EGGER Ergo Board was developed especially for drywall constructions and interiors.
  • The wood decor Oak handscraped is best described as “powerful yet graceful”. The brown-grey colour scheme highlights the modern appearance of oak.
  • EGGER will be “Winner” in the category “Materials and Surfaces” for the decor variety of PerfectSense “Evolution”.

Every year, the top-class expert jury of the German Design Council recognizes innovative products, projects, manufacturers and designers with the German Design Award. EGGER can look forward to three awards at the 2018 ceremony taking place in February.

EGGER continuously works on the further development of its product portfolio. The corporate group underlines its claim to be a leading wood-based material manufacturer with a variety of new product, decor and surface developments. This drive for innovation garners recognition. EGGER convinced at the German Design Award for the third year in a row.

For the further development of the Premium category PerfectSense under the title “Evolution”, EGGER will be “Winner” in the category “Materials and Surfaces”. For the furniture industry the popular decors are now joined by additional uni and wood decors, as well as material reproductions, partly with pearlescent effect. EGGER therefore achieves unprecedented surface quality and gives PerfectSense even more variety.

When it comes to flooring, two decors from the EGGER Design Flooring Collection will be “Winners” in the category “Building and Elements”: the stone decor Slate black and the woodgrain decor Oak handscraped.

The EGGER Ergo Board also stands out among the EGGER building products as an ergonomic “one-person board” with low weight and easy handling. These advantages impressed the jury of experts on the German Design Council. The versatile construction board will receive a “Special Mention” in the category “Material and Surfaces”.
