We are closely monitoring developments with the Coronavirus and have implemented our business continuity plan in order to minimise the effects on our company, employees and supply chains. Our top priority is the health of our employees, customers, suppliers and partners.
With restrictions currently in place in many European countries, there are challenges for all organisations. It is most important for Timberpak to deal responsibly with the risk of the coronavirus and also guarantee ongoing supply.
Site opening times for delivered in material
Measures have been taken to ensure our sites and weighbridges are operating with normal opening hours. Please check our website where we will post our opening hours and any changes we may make.
Sales and Customer service availability
Measures have been taken to ensure our sales and customer service teams remain available. Where possible our sales team and office based employees have been asked to work from home and cancel all non-business critical travel. They will maintain regular contact with you remotely via telephone.
Our goal is to continue to provide the same high service quality you have come to expect.
Delivery reliability and transport – Collected material
We are continuing to operate our fleet for collection of waste wood, whether this is via bin exchanges or articulated collections, and we are continuing to produce at full capacity at all our production sites and therefore still have the same requirement for recycled material. We are working with all our internal and external hauliers to ensure there is sufficient availability of drivers to not affect operations. We have purchased non-contact clinical distance thermometers to identify whether anyone has a fever.
If your company has introduced any new procedures or restrictions we would ask that you inform us of these immediately, so we can communicate this to our haulage partners and prevent any unnecessary delays on site.
No visits and events
We are currently not receiving any external visitors in our plants and have cancelled or postponed all events. We have also advised our employees not to attend large events. If you are planning events or would like our sales staff to visit you personally, please discuss these needs with your Timberpak contact.
We are closely monitoring the latest government guidelines as this situation develops. We will ensure that we keep you updated and informed through regular communication. Please contact us if you have any queries.
