On our 400 m² EGGER booth at the BAU fair 2017 in Munich, distributors, joiners and architects were introduced to our innovations from the Furniture and Interior Design, Flooring, and Wood Construction divisions.
The highlight was definitely the launch of the new EGGER Decorative Collection 2017-2019. It includes decor and surface innovations as well as an expanded product and services offer for retail, handcraft, and architecture. With 300 decors, a service-oriented product offering, and a set of matching decors and materials, we provide a concept for a quick, reliable and successful system.
Next to the popular EGGER Laminate Flooring and Cork+ Flooring we introduced the new flooring category EGGER Design+ Flooring. The floor's cover layer is made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). With a material thickness of only 5 mm, authentic decors, high resistance, high shape stability and the SelfRepair effect, this type of flooring is particularly well-suited for public and commercial use.
The Ergo Board expands EGGER's building products offer. The versatile, ergonomic construction board only weighs eleven kilograms and was developed especially for indoor dry construction. In addition, we showed a terrace decking board called EGGER Thermodecking made of domestic pine. Thermal treatment reduces its susceptibility to insects and fungi. This means that the durability of the boards reaches an impressive 15-25 years.
