KBB Daily has joined forces with the biggest name in laminate and wood-based décor panels to offer a fun competition with some great prizes.
Following the launch of its new award-winning collection earlier this year, EGGER has introduced an online visualiser to help customers create their dream kitchen, bedroom or bathroom in minutes.
The visualiser enables users to view the 6,460 possible décor combinations – exploring how EGGER’s worktops, splashbacks and upstands work with its doors, shelving and drawer fronts.
“With what is now Europe’s largest range of coordinating worktops and frontals, we were keen to help furniture manufacturers and retailers explore our range and get maximum benefit from what is available,” said EGGER’s head of décor design Elliott Fairlie.
“As the decors are instantly applied to room sets, it’s a quick and easy way for you to create the type of look you want. It’s free and easily accessible on a computer, tablet or smartphone.
“Manufacturers and retailers can also embed the visualiser in their own website, and provide customers with a handy tool to mix and match different colours and textures. All they have to do is contact us via myEGGER and we’ll supply everything free of charge.”
During July, readers of KBB Daily can try the visualiser for themselves, choose the room type and create their fantasy design. It is then simple to enter the competition with the chance to win a weekly prize of a magnum of EGGER beer – one of Austria’s leading brands and not usually available in the UK.
At the end of the month, our judges – Elliott Fairlie of EGGER and KBB Daily’s editor Ellie Clow will pick an overall winner. First prize is the latest iPad Pro 10.5 inch model – unveiled at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference in June and the tech giant’s most advanced yet.
All you have to do is send in your entry via the link on the visualiser page, and don’t forget to share your design ideas via social media.
One thing is certain – you won’t be short of inspiration. EGGER’s visualiser has a range of room sets for you to experiment with, and as you click around the room you’ll see a chart of available decors that can be viewed full size.
Once the main elements of the new design have been selected, plinths and flooring can be dropped into place – and more than 2,700 colours of paint help to bring your ‘virtual room’ to life.
The visualiser even has a ‘compare’ feature that allows you to set two different decor combinations side by side with a slider allowing you to move seamlessly between the two and decide which you prefer.
“Creating the coordinated look demanded by modern home-owners requires materials that either match or complement each other, and the visualiser showcases EGGER’s unique ability to match its worktops, MFC, MDF, melamine and complementary products,” added Elliott.
“And because we also supply the materials that are made into splashbacks, doors, carcasses, shelving, end panels, upstands and plinths, the resources exist to bring it all together from a single supplier.”
So why not give it a go and Good Luck!
