EGGER Protect’s P5 core is the first structural chipboard product in the market to be tested for fire resistance to BS EN 1365-2:2014 when incorporated into a floor construction. 30 minute fire resistance was confirmed for both of EGGER’s fitting methods.

Anti-slip, moisture resistant and hardwearing structural chipboard flooring that can be exposed to the elements for 60 days. Suitable for new builds, refurbishments, renovations and timber frame construction projects.

Manufactured to EN 312, EGGER Protect is made from EGGER P5 flooring grade chipboard. It has a hardwearing, anti-slip surface (tested in accordance with BS 7976-2) on the top and underside of the board, which helps to prevent moisture penetration.
