On Friday 30th April 2021, local resident Bob Livesey will retire from his operational role with the international wood-based panel manufacturer.
Over the last 38 years, Bob Livesey has played a pivotal role in driving the transformation of EGGER UK from a small import business into a market-leading supplier of chipboard and associated products into the UK furniture manufacturing, construction, decorative specification and other associated industries.
Bob joined the wood-based panel business in 1983 as Import Sales and Marketing Manager, before EGGER took over the Hexham site from Weyroc in 1984. Over the last 38 years Bob has progressed through the company as a director since 1994, becoming Joint MD in 2004 until taking on the responsibility in 2016 as Commercial Director for Western Europe.
Now Northumberland’s largest manufacturing employer, Bob has help lead and support EGGER’s dedicated team in achieving successful growth through the development of long lasting, loyal relationships.
As part of the role, Bob was also chair of the EGGER Charity Committee, which has supported numerous local charities over the last 35 years.
