Twenty one million visitors came to the Expo Milano, three million visited the German Pavilion.
Whether visitors strolled through the exhibition, sat in the restaurant, washed their hands, or experienced the Be(e) Active interactive show – they were surrounded by EGGER products. The Working Group German Pavilion (ARGE), commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for the Economy and Energy, selected EGGER as a partner to supply its wood-based materials.
These included the flame-retardant Eurolight lightweight board and the Feelwood synchronised pore surface on Flammex compact laminate, which was certified especially for Italian fire protection regulations. After its successf at the world exhibition, the Pavilion has left no visible traces - it was dismantled and recycled as part of the Expo sustainability concept.
