EGGER begins construction on first U.S. manufacturing facility

EGGER has started construction on its North Carolina-based U.S. manufacturing plant in Davidson County.
Construction officially began in November 2018 after the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality issued an air quality permit.

The ultramodern particleboard manufacturing plant is estimated to open in late 2020 and will enable EGGER to better serve its customers in North America, improving access for architects, designers, wholesalers and furniture industry customers to EGGER's wide range of wood-based products and cutting-edge designs. This facility will provide 400 direct jobs over the next six years, yet again proving EGGER's commitment to its U.S. presence.
