The ultra-modern MDF/HDF production line at EGGER plant in Gagarin is the first in Russia and the forth in the Group – three more plants with the similar equipment are situated in Germany. With the launch of the line, the company has implemented its largest investment project in Russia in more than 10 years of presence on the Russian market.
There is a wide range of applications for the products manufactured on the new line: furniture, interior design, construction, shop equipment, doors, wall panels, 3D panels and much more. MDF boards are characterized by excellent quality. They have high pile density of the top layers and are used both laminated and raw. Compared to many other wood based materials, MDF has higher bending strength, as well as excellent screw holding properties. The mechanical load bearing capacity and resistance of MDF boards are higher than those of common chipboards. They also have better swell behavior. MDF boards are characterized by mechanical, technological and physical properties that are comparable with those of solid wood.
