Architecture, interior design and furniture design trends are becoming increasingly individual and varied. For example, what is the best decor combination and carrier material for shop fittings? Wood-based product manufacturer EGGER now offers fabricators a new tool - the online ZOOM Design Guide, which provides a practical way of utilising the numerous products in the ZOOM collection. The Design Guide is the successor to the popular EGGER Design Consultant. Clients will be able to access a host of design tips on how to make the most of ZOOM decors. In video clips, EGGER design experts provide background to the materials used and how best to combine decors.
Designs for the private and public spheres
"Depending on its purpose, creating a stylish and contemporary interior poses numerous challenges with respect to design and materials, whether in the public or private sphere. In the ZOOM Design Guide EGGER demonstrates design and structural solutions to meet these challenges", explains EGGER Product Manager Klaus Monhoff. The visitor is guided through three "furnishing worlds" in both the private and commercial sectors. The Design Guide shows the current and future trends in the ZOOM collection, provides design suggestions to inspire individual projects, suggests materials and acts as a backup for fabricators when discussing projects with clients. In addition, the Design Guide is constantly updated with reports on trade fairs, new products and interior design news and so acts as an up-to-the-minute reference work for fabricators.
Fashions, combinations and materials
Three room scenarios are demonstrated for the home: bathroom, kitchen and living room; and for the commercial sector scenarios for hotel, shop and trade fair are shown. In each case the decor is explained and details are provided on the decors used in the scenario, providing answers to questions such as these: Can Eurolight board be used for this counter? Which decor was used for this kitchen front? What collection is this floor from and where else can it be used? Answers to these questions and others are just a mouse click away. Since the new Eurolight board plays an important role in many room designs, there is also a film available for download on how to use this innovative material.
In addition, EGGER design experts Klaus Monhoff and Verena Michaels explain general trends in decor, colour and materials for each scenario and shed further light on the materials used. They show examples of how the decors can be combined: "The ZOOM collection provides numerous options in any living or commercial space. The design guide allows us to support fabricators when choosing decors and materials", says Product Manager Monhoff. There is also a special combination list, which contains four colour-coordinated combination tips for each of the 240 ZOOM decors. The EGGER design experts have provided helpful comments with the list which acts as a backup for fabricators when discussing projects with clients. The list can also be downloaded separately. EGGER offers a free sample-ordering service.
