Fritz Egger celebrates his 75th birthday
Fritz Egger celebrated his 75th birthday on 15th November. He was a key leader of the EGGER Group for many decades. In 2000, Fritz Egger retired from operational management and from then on was Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Fritz Egger is now stepping down from this role. Walter Schiegl will take over the role of Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

Despite the challenging economic environment, EGGER can report a very solid financial year. EGGER generated a Group-wide turnover of EUR 4.13 billion and EBITDA of EUR 541.3 million.

The EGGER Group is pleased to announce that Roland Auer will strengthen its global sales and marketing team. He will contribute his extensive industry knowledge and expertise as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) from May 1, 2025.

Sustainable management is a key aspiration for the EGGER Group. The wood-based material manufacturer was once again able to reaffirm this stance: The family company has achieved a remarkable improvement in its sustainability performance in two renowned sustainability ratings. For the first time, EGGER has been awarded the coveted EcoVadis Gold Medal.
