EGGER decorative lightweight boards have all the characteristics of a modern wood-based material: resource-conserving, light yet stable. They consist of wood-based material top layers laminated on both sides that enclose a lightweight cardboard honeycomb core. Thanks to this sandwich structure, they achieve high stability with little material and are therefore versatile in dry furniture and interior design: From conventional lightweight construction to unusual designs, there are numerous possibilities. The low weight of the composite board also offers clear advantages in terms of handling. For a coordinated look, the decorative lightweight boards are available laminated in decor and texture combination with decorative boards, laminate and ABS edging coordinated with the respective decor. Decors with Feelwood textures are produced in a multilayer construction on both sides, i.e. the total thickness of the board increases by 1.2 mm (0.6 mm / side).

With the Decorative Collection 26+, we have improved the surface quality of our lacquered uni decors on recyclable particleboard core. The former known texture “TM9 PerfectSense Smoothtouch Matt” thus becomes “TM PerfectSense Matt”. By modifying the lacquer system, we have created a smoother surface that is more haptically appealing without compromising on other properties.
