Welcome to an idyllic and peaceful oasis in the Krems Valley , where an impressive complex of 16 semi-detached houses has been built using sustainable construction methods.
The Donau.Hoch semi-detached house complex is located in the Krems Valley and has a fascinating view of the Danube and the Hollenburg wine terraces. The construction of a total of 16 semi-detached houses, each with a living space of 120 m², began in Spring 2022. The complex has been ready for occupancy since the end of 2023. This project was planned by architects Arkform GmbH and realised together with the client and builder Anton Aigner GmbH. The sustainable construction method was particularly important to them and was easily achieved with EGGER products. They used 2,080 m² of EGGER DHF and 5,350 m² of EGGER OSB 3, each with a thickness of 15 mm. Special features of OSB 3 include its high dimensional stability and accuracy of fit. The precise production and low dimensional tolerances enable rapid planking of large areas without the need for reworking. When installed as external panelling for exterior walls, DHF scores highly in terms of wind and rain resistance. The new construction project Donau.Hoch is a very impressive semi-detached house complex built with high-quality and responsibly manufactured products from EGGER, offering the new residents a very special lifestyle in the middle of nature.
