EGGER DecoWall transforms a single-family home in Schwendt into a stylish residential landscape.
In the peaceful village of Schwendt, surrounded by gentle meadows, a single-family home was fitted with EGGER DecoWall in December 2024. On a surface of 30m², the DecoWall creates an exciting transition between living spaces and basement rooms. Schwendt, with its almost 900 inhabitants, offers peace and relaxation in an environment characterised by traditional farms and vast forests. This natural beauty is reflected in the design of the house, which has been perfectly matched with the environment. The EGGER DecoWall decor DO001 Natural Namur Spruce blends seamlessly into the surroundings and adds the beauty of nature to the home atmosphere. As part of the project, a drywall was built in a stud construction with cladding on both sides using EGGER DecoWall in Namur Spruce. This meant that no holes needed to be drilled during installation. This type of wall cladding offers an innovative solution that combines the stability and load-bearing capacity of a classic OSB board with a decorative surface - all without the need for sanding, painting or wallpapering. The Namur Spruce decor has a striking character thanks to the many cracks and knots. The Namur Spruce adds a rustic touch to the home due to its colouring and the type of wood. EGGER DecoWall is the environmentally friendly choice for modern living and is characterised by its straightforward installation, which can be done easily by both professionals and DIY enthusiasts. This characteristic makes it possible to utilise residential spaces efficiently and sustainably.
Thanks to the easy installation of the DecoWall, the living area of the house in Schwendt was effortlessly separated from the basement without affecting the natural flow of the open-plan concept. The warm and inviting look of Namur Spruce blends into the natural surroundings perfectly and invites the landscape inside the house.
