Showroom Selmer

Heumühle with modern design

EGGER lightweight board combines stability and the conservation of raw materials with an on-trend design.
Vienna’s oldest secular building, the Heumühle dating from the 14th century, has had a design transformation after the building fitter Selmer opened its new showroom there. Spread over an area of 500 m² (5,382 square feet), three storeys of this beautiful building are now used as an exhibition centre, office and event facility.

The design idea for Selmer focused on the use of a white material that would be as low-key and neutral as possible. It would remain discreet in the background to create an aesthetic frame for presentations. The Eurolight board with a thickness of 60 mm, combined with the EGGER decor Solid Premium White W1001 fulfils these requirements splendidly.
