Sawmill in Brilon has successfully been taken into operation |

First fully integrated EGGER location The EGGER sawmill in the East Westphalian town of Brilon has started operation after only eight months construction time. The total investment sum in the 20 hectares large area was 75 Mill. Euro. It is the first fully integrated location for the Austrian wood materials manufacturer, which operates six plants in Germany. This means that from round timber cutting over board production, coating and final finishing, up to the production of energy in their own power plant the whole cycle is passed through from the raw material up to energy utilization of the residual biomass.
