Within the course of the strategic orientation of the wood-based material producer EGGER, the board and Michael Egger have decided to appoint Ulrich Bühler as a member of the group management.

As of May 1st 2006, he will take over the operational tasks in marketing and sales & distribution from Michael Egger who will increasingly concentrate himself on his tasks as a CEO and on the strategic orientation of the group.

The 44-year-old Ulrich Bühler has completed a commercial and technical training. After having graduated from his technical business economics studies he started to work for the Klöpferholz company in 1988 where he started his professional career as branch office manager for Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Finally he was holding the function of managing director of marketing and product management of the leading German wood trading company.

In the year 2000 Ulrich Bühler changed to EGGER where he has been successfully working as managing director for sales & distribution and marketing of the six German locations up to now.
