EGGER Floor Products responds with clear strategies to the challenges of the market

The current 'stinginess is great' discussion has made the world of trade insecure and veiled the view to the consumer. With a clear strategy for its target group and clearly defined target group segments EGGER Floor Products is answering to the demands of the market.

Stefan Pletzer, managing director of E.F.P., clearly refuses confusing concepts, unclear segmentations, but also 'both.and' strategies.

EGGER Floor Products has taken up these challenges with all consequences. From the development of products to the communication and placing systems of products the different demands are met with tailor-made concepts. There is no conflict between DIY and trade with EGGER Floor Products - being the first and only producer of laminate floors which offers a complete assortment for the two consumer and trade types.

The different demands of the costumers lead to different channels of distribution. Thus the producer is confronted with the task to develop very clearly defined collections also per distribution channel. The time of innovation for the aim of finding something new is over, in fact people at EGGER Floor Products measure innovation against the advantages for the customers.

Collections for the trade:

Floorline - With 4 qualities in 64 decors, state-of-the-art noise insulation technology as well as the choice between 4 individual surfaces: Woodline, Fine, Ceramic, Rustic. Floorline also stands for its new guidance - assigned to specific lifestyles. The range reaches from Classic, Mediterranean, Country, Cosmopolitan to Young&Fun and covers herewith up to 90 % of the laminate flooring market.

VIVO Nature - The revolutionary narrow board concept with the aim: 'More than parquet'.

GlobART Systems is characterised by the key words: Individuality, Perfection, Light. For the first time an individual floor design is possible for architects, designers and creative craftsmen. With 7 different floor board sizes, 6 decors and LED light elements in the floor as well as a choice of letters, numbers and symbols one can even realize a demanding info design.

The same spectrum of ideas and target group segmentations is also offered for the DIY trade. The collections are drafted for the DIY sector and are absolutely self-explanatory.

EMOTION is the totally new developed basic collection. It offers 3 worlds of lifestyle: Elegant, Romantic and Modern all together 4 qualities in 38 decors. Individual surfaces like Perfect matt, Ceramic, Rustic and Woodline underline the demands of this collection. The most up-to-date silenzio sound proofing technology as well as the innovative Just Clic! technology make this collection a fast-selling merchandise.

FEELWOOD - The narrow board concept for the DIY area. The customer is offered a real alternative to the narrow board parquet. With 9 decors and 2 surface structures totally new and demanding creation concepts can be realized now. With this innovation EGGER also has a clear advantage to parquet producers, Matthias Danzl says.

EGO! - Under the motto 'Design your EGO!' a new target group is opened up. In 3 design lines: Berlin, Milan and Stockholm give the costumer totally new possibilities for creative floor designs. The basic and design packages are appropriate for DIY users easy to combine and can be completed with LED light elements to new flooring solutions.

As an absolute fair highlight EGGER Floor Products has presented WOODVISION. This new flooring appearance is possible with a special longitudinal bevelled edge and EGGER is proud that even dirt has no chance with this special edge geometry. WOODVISION has an especially massive flooring appearance with country-house decors. WOODVISION floors are offered with brushed wood structure or also with a fine wood pore. These floors of course also come with the Just Clic! technology.  

With this unique and complete programme for the target groups and distribution channels EGGER Floor Products is very optimistically facing the future.
