Takeover of fibre board plant in Wörgl (A)
The vision of Fritz EGGER senior, and his love of innovation, led to the takeover of the formerly Tyrolean wood fibreboard factory, used in the early days to product soft fibreboard. Shortly after the takeover, production was switched to EUROSPAN® 2000 thin chipboard by installing calendering equipment.
