Takeover of thin MDF plant in Bevern (GER)

The first step towards MDF production was taken with the acquisition of Bevern. On the 20^th of September the former Bevernboard GmbH & Co KG, which had gone bankrupt, was taken over, complete with state-of-the-art machinery. 2004 at the Bevern plant the MDF dry gluing is used. The project "dry gluing" was promoted from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The aim of the dry gluing system is among other things the reduction of emissions as well as the reduction of bonding agents in comparism to the conventional Blow-Line-procedure.
