Work begins on new “Europe Plant” in Wismar (GER)

The commissioning of the large-scale dimensioned plant constructed in Wismar, a port in Mecklenburg saw EGGER extend its full range of products to include OSB, whilst also significantly stepping up its MDF and flooring production capacity. FORMline^® DHF (diffusion-open fibreboard for roofing and walls) and EUROSTRAND^® OSB are two products that enabled EGGER to capture new market segments and tap new potential, whilst also perfectly fulfilling individual customer requirements – above all, with regard to the needs of the building industry.
