EGGER gets the Innovation Prize for Architecture and Building

The new FORMline® DFF board was selected out of 66 products submitted and was awarded a special prize.

On the occasion of the BAU fair the architecture magazines AIT and IntelligenteArchitektur organised the competition of „Innovation Prize for Architecture and Building“ for the third time now which addresses designers and manufacturers of innovative products from all areas of the building industry.
The architecture and design competition was initiated with the intention to award a prize to those building products which in particular correspond to the requirements of architects out of the numerous building products offered on the market. Important evaluation criteria are the functional and creative quality, fastness to material and variety of possible applications.

The 66 submitted products were ranging from façade systems and wall linings to doors and windows, floor coverings and fittings, tiles and sanitation. The jury was composed of 5 persons, architects and interior designers, who awarded a total of 19 prizes and awards in 3 prize categories. The highest prize category „Innovation Prize for Architecture and Building“ was awarded 3 times.
