Perfect Matt – ST9 now also for EUROFORM^® laminates

Since EGGER introduced the new surface Perfect Matt ST9 with EURODEKOR^® – melamine-faced Eurospan fine chipboards – last year, this texture, for which there is a strong demand in the market, is now also available for EUROFORM^®.

EUROFORM^® is the registered brand for EGGER laminates, which are particularly distinguished by their hard-wearing, decorative surface. Laminates perfectly complement the matching 90+60+90 complete programme as well as the Global collection and are versatile materials used especially with edging, EURODEKOR, postformed furniture elements and postformed worktops.

Perfect Matt – ST9 has a visual appeal, which comes very close to untreated wood surfaces in its appearance and touch. The newly developed matt surface is also clearly more resistant to scratches than previously developed matt surfaces. For the time ever ST9 is available for all decors which have been designed for the furniture industry (Global Collection, EGGERzum).

Visual appeal and quality of touch close to original materials___
By using perfectly reproduced wood decors EGGER has now also successfully improved the visual appeal and quality of touch closer to those of the original materials. But the texture not only appeals visually and through touch. The matt surface is also scratch resistant and has a low gloss level. ST9 shows very elegant and soft effects, whilst being robust and hardwearing at the same time. This surface very much reminiscent of waxed biofurniture surfaces. The Italians with their figurative language use a term for this, which is Pelle de Pesca: skin of the peach.

With regards to application areas, this surface also works very well with solid colours. It develops particular charm in connection with light wood decors. When used with medium natural tints of wood reproductions it shows a very high quality rating. With Perfect Matt we also take into account the requirements of horizontal application areas of the decors – despite the low gloss level of 7 points.
