For the first time – a collection with the same brand name all over Europe
17.10.2006 The wood-based product manufacturer EGGER is getting ready to launch its new collection for wholesale distributors, architects and fabricators. The aim is to launch this collection at the BAU trade fair in Munich in January 2007.
For the first time in its history the EGGER Group, with its headquarters in St. Johann, Tyrol (Austria), will be launching a collection that will be sold under the same brand name all over Europe: ZOOM
Focus – See – Feel The product motto is Focus – See – Feel; in developing its new ZOOM collection EGGER has been concentrating on designing in the most important trends in the international market to offer its customers the features they want in a harmonised and modular series of products. "We want our customers to be certain that they can find a comprehensive choice of solutions from one single supplier, with each component fitting together with any other", explains Ulrich Bühler, marketing and sales manager at the EGGER Group. "It was particularly important to us to design ZOOM with a totally new look and feel. So, we have come up with some rather innovative ways of presenting ZOOM for its initial launch", says Bühler.
The collection includes the entire EGGER range of modish décors - from innovative carrier materials like Euroform ProAkustik acoustic elements and Eurolight lightweight building boards to co-ordinated detail products such as edging, worktops and niche rear panel systems. Another aspect of the philosophy of the new collection is that ZOOM® will offer a broad range of services: one-to-one advice, a new sampling service, and - perhaps most importantly - a number of new digital service products. Successful collections for individual countries will be discontinued Once ZOOM has been launched, the country-specific collections will be withdrawn from European markets. The "90+60+90" collection for the German-speaking and the Eastern European market, "Les Harmonies" for France, "Kaleidoscope" for Great Britain and "Harmonies en couleurs et structures" for Benelux will all be phased out. "Our product range has been internationalised as the ZOOM collection, so that in future we will be in a position to meet the requirements of our customers and others using our products and services beyond the borders of individual countries", says Ulrich Bühler as he explains the advantages of standardisation.
