OSB donation for Romania

EGGER helps those made homeless by floods in Romania by donating OSB boards

The local authorities in Suceava are coordinating the rebuilding of houses in the village of Arbore that were destroyed by the recent flood in the Suceava region. This project has also benefited from material sent by the EGGER Group to provide local support to those affected by the flood.

The donation consists of 50 tons (73 m³) of OSB board, which is being used to rebuild 38 houses in Arbore that were destroyed by a terrible flood at the beginning of July. The boards have arrived and were handed over in Arbore last weekend.

Gheorghe Tiron, mayor of Arbore, expressed his thanks to EGGER: "We are very grateful for EGGER’s help, and on behalf of the residents of Arbore, would like to thank EGGER for their support. This donation is extremely important to us, as it brings us a huge step forward in the reconstruction of our village before the winter sets in."
