Europatent for folding boards confirmed

EGGER has once again got a legally binding confirmation for the patent with number EP 0 759 839 for the invention of foldable board materials.

Now it has been finalised with the European patent office: EGGER has once again got a legally binding confirmation for the patent with number EP 0 759 839 for the invention of foldable board materials.

The European patent office in Munich upholds the patent protection for this innovation for Germany, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Denmark, France, Great Britain, Italy, the Netherlands and Sweden for the EGGER coating plant in Marienmünster. There are also patents in Poland and Czechia. All oppositions of competitors and machine manufacturers have been finally dismissed in the oral proceedings of 12 May 2004.
